Infectious Disease and Pathogen-Directed Vaccines

In the Infectious Disease and Pathogen-Directed Vaccine division of the Bursky Center, our research spans from investigating the fundamental biology of pathogens, in particular viruses, to host-pathogen interactions and host immune responses. Knowledge gained from these studies is being translated to study, improve, develop, and generate novel vaccines and anti-viral agents in response to current and emerging human pathogens. Many of these exciting new developments are being made in the recently founded Center for Vaccines & Immunity to Microbial Pathogens.
